The continuously growing number of regional versions of the iSpeedCam provide you with the same awesome features as the main iSpeedCam product, except for its database, having the POI import and add camera features restricted to the specific region.

CAMERA DATABASE

iSpeedCam USA has an impressive speed trap database covering only the region of USA . The world-wide version covers the European Countries, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and all Asian countries. Nevertheless, we are aware that there are no official camera databases, and the available traffipax databases either show superfluous camera locations or lack them all together, regardless of their claim. iSpeedCam allows you to tailor the camera database with one touch by adding new cameras or filtering out the unwanted ones. Later on, you can backup and restore these cameras directly from your device.

Among various useful features you have the ability to import your favorite POI files, that contain the cameras for your locations. Download or create your own Garmin, MapMonkey, MIO or IGO speed camera (POI) files and sync it to your device using the supporting web application.

FOLLOW YOUR ROAD

While you are on the road iSpeedCam displays the outline of your current track overlaid on Apple Maps and calculates a several statistics about it, e.g. your track distance, its total time, maximum speed achieved, etc. These tracks are recorded and saved in the iSpeedcams database, so you will be able to review them later. The GPS tracking feature works with and without internet connection as well.

TAILOR IT TO YOUR NEEDS

iSpeedCam works both with the metric and imperial unit systems, so you can customize not only the speed camera database, but also the warning distances, the camera types to be warned about, etc.

You also have FREE UPDATE to the newest version, where among other new features you can use your Facebook account to Like or Share the application.

Access your FREE iSpeedCam account (http://www.ispeedcam.com/upload) via Facebook, where you can:
- Link devices to your Facebook account
- Sync custom POI files across multiple devices
- Display your custom POI files on Google Maps

* Note: Continued use of the GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Wasted Money
After paying for download I never received a single alert while passing actual police officers shooting radar. The only thing that worked was the speedometer and the information about how far it had tracked since turned on. I am shocked Apple allows these useless apps to be sold in their App Store. Trapster was the best but unfortunately was discontinued. I would NOT recommend this app and likely will request a refund.
Pass on this....
I spent the money after reading the website. The key selling point was the google maps integration. So I took the plunge and purchased. The interface was basic and somewhat user friendly. However, it didnt alert to many of the red light camera that [wase] did, and when it did it was a super loud annoying alert that I could not silence. It stayed on the whole time you were close to a red light. Even if you are stopped at that intersection! Also In the first few days I already had to add my own cameras on there because they werent in the system. It also didnt take into account the direction I was going into. I was getting alerts for cameras on the side streets up to a Mile away (thats the minimal range it searches). There is no google map integration that I could figure out and I gave this app a week of my time in research. I wanted something that would truly work with the Google maps navigation but instead I got duped.
